The main attraction of Poon hill trek is the visit to Poon Hill (3210m) from where we can enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range. The panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Manaslu (8157m) and other numerous mountains along the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki gorge from Poon Hill are majestic.

The trail follows one of the well-trodden routes through lust forest and delightful Himalayan settlements of diverse ethnic groups. Due to the incredible attitudinal range, the trek offers the opportunity to marvel at picturesque hamlets, mountain village intricately terraced fields and forested ridges.

 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara:
Day 03: Drive Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Thikhedunga (1540m)
Day 04: Trek Thikhedhunga to Ghorepani(2853m)
Day 05: Trek back Ghorepani to Banthanti and Tadapani (2610m)
Day 06: Trek back Tadapani to Ghandruk village(1960m)
Day 07: Trek back Ghandrung to Pokhara
Day 08: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 09: Departure from Kathmandu
