Most treks approaching the Everest area by road to Jiri or 45 minutes flight into Tumlingtar and trek Arun Valley to Everest. The trek will be combine sob tropical forest and high Mountain and populated by Rai and Limbus some of the many ancient tribes of Nepal. The route to the Everest area can either go through very remote high and difficult alpine country in the Hongu and or Hinku valleys or more readily, west to the Dudh Koshi Valley before turning north to rich Nameche Bazaar on day 12 or 13 Trekkers have an opportunity to climb Gokyo Peak (5483m), Renjo La pass (5345m) which is affords excellent view of Cho-Oyu (8154m) Everest (8848m) Makalu (8475m) and many other mountains. From here that trek crosses the Chyugima la (pass) (5420m) into the Everest Base Camp area. After visit the vantage point at Kalapathar, which also afford superb close-up views of Everest, the route circles back via Thyangboche Monastery to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu.

  • Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.
    Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at hotel.
    Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) from Kathmandu, trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 6: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4350 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4910 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Gorak Shep (5180 meters). 7 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 10: Hike up Kalapattar (5555 meters) then trek down to Pheriche (4200 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
    Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse .
    Day 12: Trek to Lukla (3404 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse .
    Day 13: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning. Overnight at hotel .
    Day 14: Leisure day in Kathmandu Overnight at hotel .
