In 2007 I made with 5 friends a trekking around the Annapurna, in which Sangam was our guide. He had totally organised our trip except the bookings for the airflights. We had given him our wishes about length of the daytrips and the comfort of the hotels and the lodges.
Transport from the airport, hotels in Kathmandu, sherpa's lodges, everything was perfectly organised.
We had made in correspondence with Sangam a planning for the trip of 15 days and Sangam organised during the trip, depending of the progress of our walking, local lodges with very good local food. Most lodges were small and cosy and we were able to have good contacts with the owners. The lodges were sober and well cleaned and most of the time with warm water.
Every evening there was a briefing about the next day and the other sherpa's were also involved. During the trip contact with them was growing and we appreciated this very much.Sangam gave also a lot of information about Nepal, about the people living in Nepal, about Hindoism and Bhoeddism, about the political situation. We spoke a lot with the other sherpa's and the owners of the lodges, so we learned really about Nepal.
All this walking and climbing was done in a very relaxed atmosphere, and also his way of organising is very relaxed. At the same time we had a very safe feeling of being there, while we were making such an unknown trip
I look back with a fantastic feeling and I will probably go back with my wife to Nepal and then I will certainly call Sangam again!

I glady recommend Sangam Sherpa to anyone who wants to make a trekking and wants to get to know Nepal. I enjoyed a really great Anapurna-trekking in October 2007. Sangam Sherpa did a wonderful job. He managed to gather a well balanced group of sherpa's. Together they made it possible for us to simply focus on the beautiful surroundings, the people, the physical challenges etc. Sangam succeeded every day in finding the very special and good places to have lunch and to stay for the night. His special quality was to talk with us every night for about an hour, telling us everything we wanted to know about Nepal, and his traditions, culture, politics, religion etc. We had some beautiful discussions, that were enriching for all of us.

I still get a warm feeling when I think of the trip around the Annapurna that I made with my five friends in oktober 2007 in Nepal. The mountains, the snow, the water, the rocks, the plants and the musrooms were amazing. The towns with theshops, historical buildings and tempels were beautiful. The people we met smiled from ear to ear when we said the magic word: 'Namaste' . We had great food, especially in the litlle villages. And we didn't even get lost! For this I want to thank our super-sherpa Sangam and his sherpa's Lakpa, Mingma, Pasang, Rikothee and Sager. Sangam was a firm leader, who told us many fine stories about the culture, the religions and the nature of Nepal. I also respected his efforts for saving the wood in the mountain-villages. Thanks again and I will return to Nepal to make more trips with you and your sherpa's.

 During our trip in Nepal Sangam was our guide. He is just the most wonderful and service minded guide. Besides being a Nr 1 trekking guide he also told us a lot about nature and culture of Nepal . We made a great trekking in the Annapurna circuit and he showed us around in many place of Nepal .
If you are thinking of going to Nepal please organise your trip with Sangam, because this multi talented guide made our holiday just perfect and I am sure that he will do the same for you!

 We are just back from a beautiful trekking around the Annapurna. We are very happy that we made this tour with Sangam as our guide! He is very experienced and we felt safe under his professional guidance. Besides everything being very well arranged, Sangam adds something extra. He is a real good companion: walking along the trails, he enjoyed the trek just like we did, appreciating nature and the rich culture of his country Nepal. He taught us the names of many beautiful birds, plants and trees and let us experience the taste of fruits growing on the trees along the trail. He also knows a lot about Hinduism and Buddhism and is a good storyteller. While sitting around the fire in the evening, we enjoyed listening to stories from the Mahabharata. Sangam has the natural ability to sense when he is needed as a guide or when you would like to have your own experience or privacy.
While making the trekking the most memorable experience for his guests, he also takes into account the impact trekking has on the environment and the people living in the area. He is very aware of reducing the negative effects of the trekking industry and dedicates himself to improving the lives of the people working for him and the people in the remote areas of Nepal. He shares his experiences with his guides and porters and motivates them to develop to their full potential.
Sangam has made our trekking around the Annapurna very memorable and we wish this to everyone who wants to make a trekking in Nepal!

 The trekking with Sangam, Lakpah and Karma was a wonderfull experience.20 days in the Himalaya with my daugther Aleta and three young man who take very good care of us. Every day we had nice sun, even high up in the mountains, where it was cold and freezing.Each morning we were awakening with a nice cup of tea on bed and asking what for a kind of breakfast we wanted to have.The accomodation was simple as the food. But always with this nice kind of serving and giving the very best they have. We met the buddist way of living in life.We had great views in the mountains and did very well because of our slowly going up to the higth of 4985 m of the Chherko-Ri. The travel was a worthwhile treasures experience which will always be in my heart and mind. What I missed the most at home is the silence and power of these wonderfull mountains and the kindness of the people. I very much recommend the travelling with Sangams company.
